Largest ever ship on the Thames

The largest ship ever to enter the Thames Estuary arrived at DP World London Gateway in the early hours of 19 October 20. The 397m by 56m Edith Maersk, which has a draught of 16m and can carry up to 15,500 standard containers, was serviced in number two berth by five of the port's cranes, which are the largest in the country.
