World-Link launches ShipSat

A new service called ShipSat has just been released byrnWorld-Link Communications is a broadband IP solution that integrates Ku-band VSAT and Inmarsat's L-band services. Forrna flat monthly fee, ShipSat delivers a global IP access, least-cost-routing (LCR) andrnswitching capabilities among Inmarsat FBB, Ku VSAT and other wireless broadband technologies including OpenPort, 3C, WiFi and WiMax. Integrating these technologies is the ShipSat Gatekeeper that performs switching, security, routing and LCR services.
