STX Norway Offshore, a subsidiary of STX Europe, has won contracts worth NOK750 million (US$112 million) from Kazakhstan's Circle Marine Invest JSC.rnThe contract is for three icebreaker tugs for operation by Caspian Offshore Construction located in the Kashagan field in the northern section of the Caspian Sea. The expected delivery date for the three vessels is 2010 and 2011.rnCaspian Offshore Construction already operates five tugs, built in 2006 and 2007, and a support vessel. The vessels will be designed by Aker Arctic, a company majority-owned by STX Europe.
