Bollinger hands over clean oil tank barge

Louisiana-based Bollinger Marine Fabricators, a subsidiary of the Bollinger Shipyards group, has delivered a 96.7m x 21.3m x 8.5m, 55,000-barrel clean oil tank barge to Bouchard Transportation Co. of New York. Certified by both the ABS and the US Coast Guard (USCG), the vessel - which is still monikered B. No. 250, at time of going to press - has been designed to meet the requirements of the US' Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA '90).
