Bollinger delivers an 80,000-barrel tank barge

Bollinger Shipyards, USA, has delivered 'B. No. 284', a double hulled 80,000-barrel oil tank barge built for Bouchard Ocean Services, USA.rnBarge 'B. No. 284' meets the requirements of the Oil Pollution Act of 1990 (OPA'90) and is a manned, ocean-going, clean oil tank barge measuring 121 metres in length, with a 22.5-metre beam and a depth of 8.7 metres. The barge was built under survey to, and is certified by, the American Bureau of Shipping and United States Coast Guard to meet the requirements of OPA'90 with twelve cargo compartments and three separate pumping systems.
