The first fundamental point to recognise is that, as things stand, the UK has developed unrivalled experience in nearly all sectors of offshore wind. Before we suggest that UK wind farm service vessel (WFSV) producers are under threat from European and Asian boatbuilders, it is worth taking a look at the statistics, as the numbers alone speak for themselves.
