Mini muffler from Marine Exhaust Systems

Marine Exhaust Systems has unveiled a new, compact genset muffler, specifically aimed at confined engine rooms on smaller boats and craft. The Series 4 Thinline Wall Pack Generator Muffler has a width of 304mm, a height of 430mm and a depth of 100mm, and is fashioned from a combination of biaxial e-glass and flame-retardant Hetron FR 998 epoxy vinyl ester resin. Designed for use with gensets rated up to 35kW, the muffler can be mounted "anywhere on the boat where there is room", Marine Exhaust System claims, including on bulkheads and hull sides.
