PPG goes copper-free

PPG is claiming a first with its Sigma Nexeon range of self-polishing antifoulings based on zinc acrylate binder coating technology. The copper-free coatings have been developed following extensive research and testing at PPG's own facilities and are, the company says, designed to help customers stay ahead of environmental regulations.
