GAC pioneers several maritime activities

There are several firsts in the maritime arena in Sri Lanka that GAC Shipping, a constituent of the McLarens Group, can lay claim to. For one, the company pioneered the introduction of ship's supply services off the Galle coast in 1991. 'Our biggest revenue earner is GAC Marine, the ship's supply service, which we started with two boats, which have now grown into a fleet of 11,' says Preethilal Fernando, GAC's director and ceo.
