Our Probiotic Endeavors

Since releasing Japan's first manufactured dairy product, Meiji Honey Yoghurt, in 1950, Meiji Diaries has introduced a number of other types of yoghurt products, and has undertaken research into the health benefits of lactobacillus. Over more than 50 years of lactobacillus research, we have amassed some 2,500 strains from around the world, and after studying the properties of each of these strains, have put them to use in the production of delicious yoghurt and in research into their various health benefits.
