摘要

In the present work , a series of substituted bisquinoline were synthesized and evaluated for their in vitro antimalarial activity against a chloroquine-sensitive Plasmodium falciparum strain of parasites. These substituted bisquinoline has been prepared by the coupling reaction between substituted quinoline ethylene diamine and substituted quinoline glycine in presence of DCC and HOBT at 0-4℃. The compounds were characterized by IR, HNMR and Mass spectra. Out of the synthesized compounds, a few of compounds showed appreciable antimalarial activity.
