摘要

In this paper, a single graded marketing organization, which is subjected to loss of manpower due to the policy decisions taken by the organization is considered. A stochastic model based upon the shock model approach is constructed. A suitable bivariate max policy of recruitment involving an exponential threshold is designed. The mean and variance of the time to recruitment are obtained when the inter decision times are exchangeable, constantly correlated exponential random variables. The analytical results are numerically illustrated by assuming specific distributions.
