EDUCATION IN INDIA-ⅢSOME SELECTED TOPICS

摘要

EParts 1 and 2 of this article, I have restricted myself the Right to Education (RTE) Act for Elementary lucation and the National Council of Higher Education and Research (NCHER) Bill with its predecessor, the Yashpal Committee (YC) Report on Higher Education. In view of the current interest in all three, and the limited availability to the general public of only some short sporadic reports on them published here and there, I had thought it would be worthwhile to present some authentic details on them and discuss some pros and cons of their impact, when fully implemented, on the students coming from widely different economic backgrounds prevailing in this vast country.
