Last section of TS Taipei removed

Salvors have removed the last section of TS Taipei, a container ship that broke in two after running aground off northern Taiwan in March. The bow was towed this week to Keelung port, where it will be scrapped along with the stern section, which was towed to the port on 24 July 2016. Two containers and other objects still around the reef will be collected and sent to Keelung for disposal, according to the Maritime and Port Bureau. The oil spill resulting from the accident was cleaned up after five months.
