Distance-learning focuses on near misses

▷ A new training programme from KVH subsidiary Videotel and The Standard Club addresses the need to report 'near-miss' incidents through an open, 'no-blame' safety culture and will still, Videotel said, be applicable after impending changes to UK reporting regulations. The programme examines the importance of sharing near-miss reports so lessons can be learnt and publicised throughout a fleet to help reduce the chances of similar incidents happening.
