Norsafe to train trainers in LSAs

From May this year, global lifesaving marine systems manufacturer Norsafe will be offering a specialised 'train the trainer' course in lifesaving appliances (LSAs). It is aimed at instructors and trainers working in nautical schools and training centres. The course covers operational and maintenance training on freefall life-boat systems, conventional lifeboats, covering davits, winches, and hook systems,and rescue boat systems. Training, at Nor-safe's facility at Rosendal, Norway, includes accident evaluation procedures and updates on regulations.
