Campaigning for health

As an educator, I have been privileged to work with the future of our profession, those young men and women starting out in their working lives. It has been immensely rewarding to share my knowledge and experience with them, and hopefully help provide the foundations for a successful career in occupational safety and health. This is why IOSH's new campaign to tackle occupational cancer, Wo Time to Lose, strikes a chord with me. This year in the UK, thousands of workers will be exposed to carcinogens - exposures that will lead to their contracting some form of occupational cancer.
