A woman's work

Professional women's groups exist in different guises around the world: Women in engineering, women in technology, women in the City, women in publishing, women in mining, women in law... the list goes on. As of yet, a 'women in health and safety' group does not exist in the UK. Women and men are not the same - the jobs they do, their working conditions and how they're treated by society can be different. The European Agency for Safety and Health at Work recommends that we take a 'gender sensitive' approach to health and safety at work.
