摘要

The main objective of this work is to develop a CFD model for studies of combustion and in-cylinder soot trends in a single cylinder DI diesel engine based on the Scania 14 liter V8 engine. The evaluation of the model is Made with respect to ignition, cylinder pressure, heat Release, onset of diffusion controlled combustion, liquid Fuel spray penetration, in-cylinder soot distribution and Exhaust soot level.
