Effects of Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate on the Growth Dynamics and Physiological State of the Microalga Dunaliella salina(Chlorophyta)

摘要

This study deals with the effects of sodium dodecyl sulfate (SDS) (0.1, 1, and 10 mg/1) on the growth dynamics and physiological state of the microalga Dunaliella salina Teod. (Chlorophyta). The effects of SDS increase with increasing concentration. At 10 mg/1, this toxicant significantly inhibited microalgal growth and led to a decrease in chlorophyll a and carotenoid contents.
