They perform the controllable measurement needs and they give the reliability of computer analysis of measurement results obtained. Hence, very important is elaboration of a measurement strategy before its investigation in such a way, to achieve optimum conditions of guaranted results. One criterion of the optimum condition concerns the precision and uncertainty of measurements. Others concern the application of the best fitting criterion (reference feature), the spacing of measurement points, its quantity, the application of wave filter, the measurement terminal, its diameter, and the influence of measurement mandrels configuration on the result of roundness deviations. The analysis results were confronted with experimental verification. Basing on the tests the possibility of precision formation determination of shape deviation through appropriate selection of measurement strategy elements were confirmed.
