Problemy bezpieczeństwa energetycznego i awarii systemu przesyłowego spowodowanych zjawiskami atmosferycznymi

The article presents the work of the Department of Power Plants and Measuring Systems (Opole University of Technology) in energy safety and the failures caused by weather conditions. There are presented two monographs and the main directions of further research are pointed out. Analysis of the experiences of foreign operators transmission grids shows the great importance of the issue of energy safety (economically, socially and politically). Books [1,2] may form the basis of analysis of energy policy and security of the power system. Monographs indicate the necessity of construction crisis management system in power enterprises. The authors continue works connected with the problems of energy safety with special emphasis on economic aspects. Main directions for further research at the Department of Power Plants and Measuring Systems include two areas: analysis of the impact of weather on power system safety and anti-failure effects [3,4,5], and monitoring of power network investments.%W artykule zaprezentowano prace prowadzone w Instytucie Elektrowni i Systemów Pomiarowych Politechniki Opolskiej w zakresie bezpieczeństwa energetycznego oraz awarii powodowanych zjawiskami atmosferycznymi.
