A STUDY OF REFRACTIVE INDEX VARIATION FOR THE Ti DIFFUSION INTO LiNbO_3

In this paper we present a study of the refractive index variation for the Ti diffusion into LiNbO_3, to form Ti: LiNbO_3 slab waveguides. This study is based on goniometrical measurements at λ = 632.8 nm before and after the Ti diffusion, to determine the surface refractive index form the Brewster's law.
