NUMERICAL SIMULATIONS FOR THE NON-LINEAR LOTKA-VOLTERRA SYSTEM

The non-linear Lotka-Volterra (LV) system is considered for two species and its properties are compared to those of the classic (linear) system. The dynamics of this system is studied, the criterion of classification of interaction being given by the mutual aggressiveness between species (a_1, a_2). The applied numerical simulations confirm the general character of species evolution.
