Diversity brings greater knowledge and unity counts

Most of this month's issue is taken up with stories of crisis management. As Richard Burnett says in his Lead article, these are not normal times. However, what also comes across this month, despite the enormous difficulties the new year has sprung on many of us, is the resilience of the people in this industry. The sheer dogged persistence to face problems head on and achieve a resolution. Out of necessity of course, but that doesn't detract from the fact that they know their ground. For years now the tag line of Roadway has been The Voice of Road Haulage', to which could be added, 'that knows what it's talking about'.
