Austroads officially launched its comprehensive range of road industry guides inrnJuly, 2009. Covering the complete gamut of road design, construction, maintenance and operation, the guides provide cutting edge information regarding the roadrnnetwork.rnThe comprehensive library consists of nine Austroads guides and will be utilised by road authorities in Australia and New Zealand. All Austroads member organisations have agreed to adopt Austroads guides as the basis of their operations.rnThere is a guide on each of the following: Asset Management, Bridge Technology, Pavement Technology, Project Delivery, Project Evaluation, Road Design, Road Safety, Road Transport Planning and Traffic Management. A Road Tunnels guide will be released by June 2010.rnThe official launch of the Austroads' guides was on 1 July, 2009. It was held at the ARRB Group's offices in Vermont South, Melbourne.
