Das Bauen im Bestand und die Planung von Erhaltungsmaßnahmen weist im Vergleich zum Neu- oder Ausbau andere Schwerpunkte auf. Dies ist um so bedeutender, wenn zukünftig mehr Investitionsmittel für die Erhaltung der Straßeninfrastruktur umgesetzt werden. Insbesondere bei einer Zunahme der notwendigen Erhaltungsinvestitionen in den nächsten Jahren kommt der Beurteilung des Zustands der Straßenbefestigung sowohl technisch als auch wirtschaftlich eine hohe Bedeutung zu. Dies betrifft sowohl die strategische, netzorientierte Ermittlung des Erhaltungsbedarfs, aber vor allem auch die objektbezogene Erhaltungsplanung der einzelnen Baumaßnahmen. Zur technischen Einschätzung der vorhandenen strukturellen Substanz sind auch bisher schon Ansätze im Regelwerk vorhanden, die weiterentwickelt werden. Eine Grundlage für die Beurteilung können zudem zukünftig in verstärkter Form die Informationen aus der Anwendung von zerstörungsfreien Messverfahren bilden, die sich derzeit in der Entwicklung befinden. Trotz dieser Tendenzen ist festzustellen, dass die konkrete Konzeption einer Baumaßnahme von unterschiedlichen Einflussgrößen bestimmt wird, die in keinem direkten Zusammenhang mit der Bewertung des Bestands stehen müssen.%The construction within asset and the planning of maintenance in comparison with the new construction or upgrading show different focuses. Particularly with a rise of the necessary investments in maintenance within the next years, the evaluation of substance of street construction will be fundamental in aspects of technology and economic viability. This concerns the strategic, net-oriented determination of the maintenance requirement as well as the object-oriented planning of maintenance of single building measures. Technical regulations still contain the technological estimation of present structural substance, which will be enhanced. The structural estimation in the future should be based on non-destructive measurement methods, which are in state of development. In the face of all these tendency, it has to be declared that the concrete conception of a building measure is influenced by different variables, which must be not in a direct correlation with the estimation of the asset.
