Crunch Time Ourfictional Start-up Is Left With Some Tough Choices In This Final Chapter

The credit crunch appears to be taking its toll, many of my clients have slowed down their works or postponed them. Some have said they want to wait until they know what will happen to interest rates and the economy in general, they want to be sure they can afford the loan needed to fund the works. Others have written, saying they are not proceeding with the project. Most have at least paid their fees but there are still some small amounts outstanding. I have decided to keep a closer watch on fee accounts than at any time in the past, and stop working if I am owed money for too long on any one project.
