Lloyd's Tabernacle

From a grubby 60s house of worship to a church with a swish. Matthew Lloyd Architects' design for the Shoreditch Tabernacle Church will give the congregation a rugged brick-faced church. The circularform will insulate the worship space from the busy spaces. On top and wrapped around are 34 units designed by the practice. It is part of a major development of the church and the old Mildmay Hospital behind it, with Genesis Housing, Matthew Lloyd and Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios. It starts on site later in the year.
