DEVOLUTION IN ACTION

摘要

Wales is consulting on the first changes to the devolved Building Regulations, starting with Approved Document, Part L (Conservation of Fuel and Power), with the results likely to be adopted from June 2014 for existing domestic buildings and January 2015 for new. This landmark change in legislation has been seized by the Welsh government as an opportunity to simplify as well as strengthen the Building Regulations, with varying degrees of success.
