摘要

Classroom pedagogy has seen numerous opportunities for modification with increased access to technology. At the same time, instructional design is calling for more thorough planning to align instructional methodologies to learning objectives. This study has combined the flipped classroom model with an active learning design to create in-class hands-on activities for students. Students were surveyed about their learning habits, use of technology, and perception of the flipped classroom and the active learning design. Results are reported and future directions are discussed.
