The disclosure relates to fuel and oil lubricated fuel pumps within a common rail injection system, e.g. diesel. The proposed system is intended to improve venting, eliminate the need for long drillings, improve quality and reduce cost with an alternative production method utilizing a non-sand core casting vent design for oil/fuel lubricated pumps.
