I think it might be of some interest to your readers to remind everyone of the dangers of electric flight. I recall an incident that happened to me recently as it might help fellow modellers to avoid damage and injury. I was setting up my model in the workshop prior to flying the next day and had the propeller attached to the brushless motor. I turned the transmitter on and coupled up the battery pack with the throttle stick fully back against the stop. I checked the rudder and elevator for correct movement and found that the rudder was operating the wrong way round. Going to the servo reversers on the transmitter I incorrectly moved the throttle reverse switch, at which point the motor went to full throttle and the model very nearly hit the roof. Fortunately, I was able to pull a lead off the battery with no harm done.
