PASSENGERS FACED an uncertain period of cancelled services on the Gospel Oak to Barking line (GOBLIN) from mid-March, despite three shortened four-car Class 378 units being drafted in to cover services. The first EMU to enter passenger service was 378232 on January 28 when it worked the 2J02 0648 Barking to Gospel Oak. It was followed by 378206 on February 11 and 378209 on the 18th.
