TAZARA - Track Re-Built, Operations Restored

The Tanzania-Zambia Railway Authority (TAZARA) hasre-constructed the track formation that got damaged atKM32 in Mwakanga (32km South West of Dar es Salaam),following a landslide that occurred on 30 April 2020 andresulted in the track being rendered impassable.With this development, full operations have resumed andtrains have begun delivering freight traffic into and out ofDar es Salaam, while passenger trains into and out of Dar esSalaam will also commerce henceforth.
