Saving the best for last, the final Functional Group overview is the feature of this column. The Track Functional Group vice president is Randy Bowman of Norfolk Southern and he has provided the following update.rn"The AREMA Track Functional Group is made up of Committees 1, 4, 5, 27 and 30. These committees are represented on the Board by Director Gary Click, technical director for VAE Nortrak; Director Joe Smak, director track standards and specifications for Amtrak; and Vice President Randy Bowman, engineer track and materials for NS. These committees are responsible for maintaining their corresponding chapters in the AREMA Manual for Railway Engineering.
