First, from Mike:rn"The AREMA Engineering Services Functional Group includes the following committees and membership structure:rn"While our ES committees need members from all walks of railroad engineering, it can be quickly seen that railroad participation is lacking in ourrngroup. I urge AREMA railroad employees reading this article to consider our committees.rn"Generally, ES committees meet face-to-face two times per year, once at the annual AREMA conference and once at a field trip. The field trip meetings are typically two days and incorporate subcommittee meetings. Also, several of the ES committees set up conference calls and/or use the AREMA Website to conduct business.
