Two awards for Tokaido Shinkansen

The Tokaido Shinkansen has received two major awards: "Electrical Engineering Milestone" and "Landmark in Mechanical Engineering". These awards are generally given to engineering achievements which are widely recognised as a significant historical value and an outstanding contribution to the society.
