Victoria upgrade

London Underground announced on July 30 that planning approval had been granted for its £695m project to increase capacity at Victoria station. Subject to a Transport ft Works Act Order being granted next month and the Tfl, board approving funding for the project 'in the autumn', construction would start in 2010 and is expected to take seven years to complete.
