Cargo-D, which has been offering Mk 11 and Mk til coaching stock for spot hire and operating charter trains as Rail Blue Charters, was placed in administration on October 12. This took place at the instigation of State Securities pic which is understood to have been a major funder of the Cargo-D fleet. According to the Cargo-D website, Carl Jackson and Sandy Kin-ninmonth of RSM Tenon have been appointed joint administrators of Cargo-D Ltd by State Securities. 'They are managing the affairs, business and property of the company and act without personal liability.' Cargo-D had achieved initial success as the supplier of Mk 111 coaches to now-defunct Wrexham ft Shropshire. It also supplied a five-coach rake to First Great Western but business from other TOCs failed to materialise.
