Following a successful challenge in the Court of Appeal (RB1444 p 10) which saw East Midlands Trains granted an injunction on August 1 5, RMT has instructed its members at EMT to cease industrial action deemed unlawful by the court. According to the union, the court deemed it unlawful for RMT members to only work turns or duties within the parameters laid down by their terms and conditions of employment when rostered on spare turns.
