We welcome a RadioUser reader who is new to this column, Bob Houlston. Bob often tunes to 621kHz to hear RTBF International from the Wavre transmitter in Belgium. He is especially fond of the Monday night programme that is on the air from 2005 to 2055 UTC. He wrote, "Are you ready to rock? If you like your 12 bar blues rude and raw, like I do, then tune in to the twilight zone. It's a French speaking station playing rhythm and blues and they take no prisoners. You will need a radio with internal ferrite rod antenna that you can orientate for best possible reception. There is strong QRM, QRN and QSB but hey, it's just like Radio Luxembourg used to be. You can forget about SINPO, just turn off that irritating noise-inducing switch mode PC.
