SUMMARY OF THE EIGHTH CONFERENCE ON PROTECTION AGAINST RADON AT HOME AND AT WORK AND THE 13TH WORKSHOP ON THE GEOLOGICAL ASPECTS OF RADON RISK MAPPING

This time, two respected international radon conferences, the 8th Conference on Protection against Radon at Home and at Work (Radon conference) and the 13th Workshop on the Geological Aspects of Radon Risk Mapping (GARRM workshop) were organized at the same venue and one after another fitting in one week to provide more opportunities for people to meet and to discuss. The broad and open discussion is crucial in any field of human activities and this is true twice for radon issue. This must be clear to everyone who ever participated in discussions on radon control. Radon demands a multidisciplinary approach and the meeting confirmed this statement again.
