With yet more 'weather record breaking' climatic conditions, favourable this time, it has been possible to do some flying and test flying in comfort in November; no doubt we will pay for this! Having replaced the 'wing-swinging' servo on my Tornado for the third time, one inadequate and one gave up, I was keen to test her again in more favourable conditions. The only readily available hard take-off area is the concrete road across a farmer's field, this is narrow and has a difficult landing approach so I seized the fine weather to visit Filton airfield.
