During the winter I rebuilt my Pete Tindal Excitation, which had previously flown very well with a Laser 150. It was enjoyable to fly, with no vices. The first flight was going very well until I lost radio contact. The weather was perfect that morning and I had hastily fitted a flight battery with a short lead. Thinking about it afterwards I realised that the battery could have moved forward within the foam packing and unplugged itself. My fault, lesson learnt, model wrecked, won't do it again.
