The present invention relates to a virtual device to process web-based content displayed in a remote rendering device, a rendering device, a web of things (WoT) device, and a web-based content processing system. According to the present invention, the virtual device comprises a processor realized by one or more cloud resources and a memory storing commands. When being executed, the commands enable the processor to: receive the web-based content; detect an attribute of the remote rendering device to process the web-based content according to the detected attribute; analyze the web-based content in order to build a render tree corresponding to the content; prepare render tree data for rendering by the remote rendering device, wherein the render tree data corresponds to the built render tree; and transmit the render tree data to the remote rendering device through a communication network.
