PIPER PAWNEE

After many years of aeromodelling I am amazed at some of the obvious suitable subjects always being neglected. I consider the Pawnee to fall into this category. The ritual for deciding on the next subject is always the search for some aesthetic appeal. Is that beauty in the eye of the beholder? Next comes a search for the existence of a building plan in plan handbooks. Everybody, or so it seems, has a Cub. I have built a number of these very likeable models over the years, which range from a scratch-built 72" span Super Cub to a 1:4 scale Super Cub from an Italian kit. Presently my floatplane is a Goldberg Anniversary Cub on scratch-built floats. I decided that I wanted a low wing Cub or, in other words, a Pawnee!
