Hanson replace old Hazemag with new

When a 35-year-old Hazemag impactor finally came to the end of its working life at Hanson Aggregates' Chipping Sodbury Quarry, in Gloucestershire, the company opted to replace it with one of today's new generation of Hazemag machines. The old Hazemag AP5 Broad primary crusher had reliably processed in excess of 40 million tonnes of limestone since its installation in the early 1970s, operating at rates of around 500 tonnes/h.
