The PRS, or 'private rented sector', has been hailed as the solution to the housing crisis, what with its promise of communal roof gardens, residents' lounges and co-working space. Now, following calls for the sector to be rebadged the 'professional rented sector' to signify the properties are owned by slightly slicker outfits than the usual private landlord, the sharing-is-caring brigade have come up with a new moniker.
