In London, the directors of Lambert Smith Hampton have been dealing with the corporate matter of selling the business to residential estate agent Countrywide for £34.1m (propertyweek.com, 26.09.13). But the firm's Bristol office also had its fair share of serendipity. It has left its office in Whiteladies House in Whiteladies Road office without paying dilapidations. Fellow tenant Films@59, a television production company, has so much work that it wanted LSH's space. The agency firm handed over the office without the usual obligation to pay thousands of pounds in delapidations to put back the space to its original condition.
